Purpose
The Monthly WHS, Infection Control and Waste Management Inspection Checklist is used to conduct routine inspections of the workplace to help identify hazards, monitor compliance and ensure Bodyfocus Wellness Centre maintains a safe, clean and well-maintained environment for employees, patients and visitors.
Regular inspections support workplace health and safety, infection prevention, waste management and continuous improvement by identifying issues before they result in incidents.
Management is responsible for maintaining the Monthly WHS, Infection Control and Waste Management Inspection Checklist. Completed checklists are stored within the organisation's governance records and are reviewed periodically as part of workplace health and safety, infection prevention and continuous improvement activities. Management is responsible for ensuring inspections are completed at the required intervals and that any identified issues are addressed appropriately.

Identify any immediate actions taken.
Allocate responsibility where appropriate.
Monitor the issue until corrective actions have been completed.
Significant hazards identified during the inspection should also be reported using the FORM-001 Workplace Hazard Report Form where appropriate.
