ADDITIONAL FAQs

Which practitioner should I book with?

01

If you're unsure which practitioner is most appropriate, our reception team can help. We'll ask a few questions about your symptoms, injury or health concerns and recommend the practitioner best suited to your needs. Where appropriate, your care may involve more than one practitioner working together to support your treatment goals.

Can I access treatment through Medicare?

02

Medicare rebates are available for some services if you have been referred by your GP under a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan and meet the eligibility requirements. The services available under a CDM plan are determined by your referral and the current Medicare arrangements. If you have questions about your referral, our reception team will be happy to assist.

Do you accept Workers Compensation and CTP claims?

03

Yes. We provide treatment for people recovering from workplace injuries and motor vehicle accidents, including those covered under the NSW Workers Compensation and Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance schemes. If you are making a claim, please let us know when booking your appointment so we can advise you of any information we require before your visit.

Do you see Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) patients?

04

Yes. Eligible Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) clients can access a range of allied health services at Bodyfocus. If you're booking under DVA, please let us know when making your appointment and bring your DVA card and any relevant referral with you.

Can I choose my practitioner?

05

Yes. You're welcome to book with the practitioner of your choice. If you don't have a preference, our reception team can recommend the practitioner whose experience and areas of interest best match your needs.

Can I see more than one practitioner?

06

Yes. Depending on your condition and treatment goals, your care may involve more than one practitioner. For example, physiotherapy may be complemented by exercise physiology during rehabilitation, or remedial massage may form part of a broader treatment plan. Where appropriate, our practitioners work together to help provide coordinated, individualised care.

How do I book an appointment?

07

Appointments can be booked online at any time using our online booking system or by contacting our reception team during business hours. If you're unsure which practitioner to see or have questions before booking, we're always happy to help.
