Purpose


Bodyfocus Wellness Centre is committed to recruiting suitably qualified, skilled, and values-aligned employees who support the delivery of safe, professional, and patient-centred services.


This policy outlines the principles and requirements for recruitment and selection within the organisation.



Scope


This procedure applies to all recruitment activities undertaken by Bodyfocus Wellness Centre, including permanent, part-time, casual, and contract positions.

Recruitment Process


Workforce Planning


Recruitment will be undertaken when a vacancy arises or when additional workforce capacity is required to meet operational needs.


Advertising and Selection


Vacancies may be advertised internally, externally, or filled through professional networks and referrals.


Selection decisions will be based on factors including:

  • Qualifications and professional registration (where applicable)

  • Relevant skills and experience

  • Alignment with the values and culture of Bodyfocus Wellness Centre

  • Ability to perform the inherent requirements of the role

  • Referee feedback and employment history


Pre-Employment Requirements


Prior to commencing employment, successful candidates may be required to provide:

  • Proof of identity

  • Evidence of qualifications and professional registration

  • Evidence of right to work in Australia

  • Current professional indemnity insurance (where applicable)

  • NDIS Worker Screening clearance (where required)

  • Working With Children Check (where required)

  • Vaccination or other compliance documentation where legally required

  • Professional references


Employment offers may be withdrawn if required documentation is not provided or if information supplied is found to be false or misleading.


Employment Offer


Successful applicants will receive:

  • A written employment agreement

  • Information regarding employment conditions

  • Position-specific expectations and responsibilities

  • Details regarding probationary arrangements, where applicable
